No.
So someone has restyled a Previa with an axe and put a sofa in the back?
Cheezus - way to destroy your luxury-brand credibility with one fell vanâŚ
The Japanese can be SO fucking clueless at timesâŚ
I cannot understand the âsign-offâ meeting. How was anybody persuaded the new BMW or that Lexus was a good idea and would sell. The Lexus in particular, how are they ever going to get their set up costs back - the BMW will sell because it is a BMW. But come onâŚ
I somehow doubt we are the intended market. Iâd just assumed it was for Asia where luxury mpvs are still very much a thing.
Alphard Royal Lounge:
Apparently itâs for China and select Asian markets. And $170,000
Quite like the Lexus but not the BMW.
I know that a lot of gash-awful stuff is excused by âAsia marketâ, I daresay the inbred-Bimmer tests well there, too - but seriously: we do live in a highly connected World, and âourâ bit of it isnât insignificant: Yurp and Murka combined accounts for ~1.1 Billion people, but the nett personal wealth of those is probably more than China and India combined.
But holy fucking christ that stuff is godbloodyAWFUL! Especially that AlltardâŚ
If itâs only sold in Asia why would they give a stuff about anywhere else as long as it sells in its target market?
The Japanese+Asian market is big enough, and China is were the growth is.
Brand image old sausage - in case you havenât noticed, people in Yurp and Murka still donât take Lexus as seriously as they do Merc, Bim or even VW: so what evenâs the fucking point of a prestige brand if it has no prestige?
So a dodgy minivan is somehow going to threaten Lexus sales in the US? Doubt it somehow. They love a minivan they do.
OK, if you agree to Herp, and I agree to Derp, we can work together to get All these windows licked
all the flies, all of them.
Lexus also sells about as many cars In the US as BMW. A bit less than Merc.
Shhh⌠I got you these:
