Motoring horrors aka Edd wants

The lesson I draw from this is never go full Alphard.

What about full Vellfire?

The Japanese car industry is so weird.

My honest appraisal of that is that it must have been designed in response to a bribe from Bandai who needed a head for their 2020 version of Voltron.

Cedric classic. Sold from 1987 to 2014.

Should have probably put that in the I want thread.

I borrowed one of these from my boss in about 1987 for a weekend in Devon.
It was the first car I ever drove with cruise control

I do want, sad as that may seem, to some, maybe, perhaps’ish.

Imitating Mercedes. It’s what the Japanese do badly. But not quite as badly as the Koreans.

I’d rather have a Cedric over most Mercedes.

I’d have a W114/W115/W116 though.

Vertical headlights for the win…

I actually see more horrific American car in most Older Japanese cars than Mercedes.

I was behind one of these recently and can confirm it is actually more horrendous in the flesh than on the screen.
