A lot of money tho
8 x 12 inch and ÂŁ129 at HMV seems the best price delivered.
Very long piece about Neil Ardley Kaleidoscope of Rainbows in general plus the new re-press. Just off to see how much it is as very tempted. Ok, itâs ÂŁ54 plus postage, so less tempted although it apparently betters the original pressing which I have.
ÂŁ42.75 at Juno.
Donât ask me how I know this ![]()
Oh dear I think I might have the same issue, going to spin original later on and then decide when I had a few glasses of wine. ![]()
(Cheaper on Juno Pre order)
also
I was absolutely obsessed with this band and this album at this time.

1985, when time signatures were 9/8 and hair was big ![]()
But do I really want to splurge ÂŁ20 on a big olâ slab of nostalgia?
I also was, if not fully obsessed, certainly very into them, along with all the others of their ilk at the time. I recently, because of another post you made referencing them I think, had an investigative listen, thinking I might plunge down a memory-lane IQ wormhole.. they hadnât dated well. I concluded that some things are better in nostalgic recollection, than dragged into the present and held to light.
The Wake and Twelfth Nightâs Live and Let Live (live at the Marquee IIRC) were my favourites
although I never saw IQ with Peter Nicholls and never saw Twelfth Night at all. However I did stalk Marillion across western Europe ![]()
My first ever gig was Marillion at Milton Keynes Bowl! The day I also discovered Tull, who were outstanding.
Wow no way! Excellent
closet proggers furiously outing themselves here today ![]()
Me like ![]()
Nice. Are you going?
Am not, I just saw the stuff about it in the Leamington branch of Head this morning (the album was on display right at the entrance).
