 having had it for a while, it’s quite
polite/polished. Bit too much sax maybe?
The Mrs and I went to see him when he was last over in London and that was very good indeed.

I’ve only played it once. It is lovely rich and dynamic sounding with appreciable bass compared to the weedy thin flat presentation of the original pressing. Very highly recommended.

Good to hear. I just thought after ordering that you hadn’t actually heard the difference when you wrote that.

I wrote that ages ago after the news of the RSD release was announced. I only got the LP on the weekend as I was not able to do the RSD thing. A very kind person sorted me out, see ‘the things that make you feel good’ thread for details.
