Hi, this is my fourth post here. I’ll introduce myself.

I got into hi-fi in my teens, last century. SInce then I’ve had a number of systems and listened to a lot of music. I’m a regular on PinkFish and more recently the, now dead, 'Wam.

Mostly interested in vinyl/analogue especially Max Townshend’s kit and Quad. At one point I think I might have owned the equivalent to the european Quad mountain. I’ve managed to get my number of FM4s down to three and 34s down to two.

I look forward to contributing when I have time.

Good afternoon. I live on a hill in North Wales and prefer listening to music rather than the equipment. My musical tastes are eclectic, which probably means wildly prejudiced.

Welcome aboard.

Welcome - where abouts in north wales? It’s vaguely my stomping ground when I’m back in the UK.

Apt forum tagline, you’ll be fine!

Welcome Steve.

Musical taste is no arbiter to posting here. I should know :+1:

I live above Bethesda opposite what used to be the biggest man made hole in the world.
Country and western and Augustus Pablo and and and…enjoyed the SunRa smackdown.

As a young teenager I went to Bethesda many times for walking trips in the mountains.
Years later worked on Dinorwig power station which I assume is the hole you are referring to?
Beautiful part of the world

Close. Penrhyn quarry. Location of one of the longest and bitterest strikes in British history.

Happy Burns’ Night to you all. What would you eat/drink at a Sun Ra Supper?
