Wow thatā€™s young - Yep - That was one of the best spit your coffee out quips. Not sure that it has been bettered.

He was, how awfulā€¦ :sob:

And continuing the current thing of me recounting my experiences of the deceased in this thread, I met him too! He was a friend of a friend and I met him at her kidā€™s birthday party. Dryly funny of course and utterly normal with plenty of time for a chat about all sorts. Good bloke. Fuck, canā€™t believe it. :slightly_frowning_face:

Real shame, he lived in the same town and did his warm up gigs here. He had time off 8 out of 10 cats and came back with a deeper voice/cough so assuming it was throat cancer.

Awful news.

As others have said, a very funny man, his deadpan delivery was a joy to watch. My thoughts are with his family, they must be devastated.

He was consistently hilarious. Such a terrible shame.

I never really know what to say at these times. Shocking news and desperately sad.

Must watch it again.
Seemed to be a lovely bloke, and can imagine he was more or less the same on or off stage.

Fortunate to seen Sean Lock live a couple of times, naturally funny and clever with it. Great loss.

Fuck! No!

Bollocks!

Never seen that beforeā€¦ brilliant.
