ā€˜Comic Strip Presentsā€™ - think he wrote some of it. Damn talented fella.

A sad day, he was good comedian, a great actor and a serious drinker.

From Five go mad in Dorset, to Cracker, Bond, Black Adder, Harry Potter and National Treasure. Heā€™s always been around since I left school.

Contrafibularities abound.

Saw / met him in a Soho pub in the 5 Go Mad days.
He was fucking hilarious as long as you bought him a pint. And we, and others, did.

I used to do bar work as a student, we were working at a private Christmas party function and big Robbie was there, must have been around 97/98. Iā€™ve never seen a man consume so much vodka. Half glasses of straight vodka all night and smoking large cigars. My memory of the end of the evening is a bit hazy as we ended up drinking a fair portion of the stock, but he stuck Ā£20 behind the bar afterwards for us. As it was a free bar that was the only tip we got all night. RIP Robbie
