The only “punk” band I ever liked (due in no small part to Dave Greenfield).
Sad, that only JJ and Cornwell are left, and that they won’t talk.
Dave greenfield was the difference between them being a good rock band to a great one
Another bit of my early TV memories has gone. Ruth Madoc: Hi-de-Hi! actress dies aged 79 - BBC News
Just seen Manuel Gottsching has passed.
Liked him back in the day - clever, innovative and very funny at times. 65 no age.
That’s sad. I only really discovered his music a couple of years ago. Will dig some out later.
Not old, only 70 I think. I missed seeing him live a couple of times fairly recently.
Angelo Badalamenti
Some truly iconic sound tracks
Just found out Manuel Göttsching passed away on the 4th - he of Ash Ra Tempel, Ashra and some great solo albums fame.
The whole sound & feel of this show was right on the money.
There was a great thread on twitter listing a few of the songs he wrote but were sung by others - that he wrote E.V.A was a bit of a surprise
Bit more niche, but it looks like Per Abrahamsen of Electrocompaniet game has died. Don’t own any but could very happily live with a system of their products.
Their Class-A stuff was lovely back in the day he was directly involved; not heard any current kit for years.
Whaaat? Sorry but that’s just awful to hear RIP Terry
