Very sad.
Non stop is such a great album.
Every aspect was made under the influence of ecstasy when it was still legal and only known about by a select few.

Interesting & amusing obituary in the Gurdian

Shit. Another goody gone.

This is so sad and I had no idea. Proud to say I knew him and along with Jim McCarty co-yardbird founder was one of rock music’s genuine nice guys. Yardbird lead guitarists almost always held the limelight but the driving rave-up sound that the Yardbirds were so well known for was foundationed in the rhythmn guitar of Chris with Jim’s drumming. Also a very keen and excellent surreal photographer. He did have a stroke some years ago which forced him to retire from the occasional Yardbirds gig when the band was resurrected with the wonderful Gypie Mayo on lead guitar.

Jack DeJohnette, 83.
I heard this had happened some hours ago but only just seen confirmation from Billy Childs.
