Park like a cunt (and other driving fuckwittery)

To be fair, that quite good parking for Bristol.

Local paper seems to think it’s protest parking against recent traffic calming measures.

The local traffic planners are a bit dim, to be fair. Where I live they recently proudly announced they were closing off a rat run close by. This would just move the traffic to a narrow parallel street… Lots of people pointed this out to them, so they are “reconsidering the plans”.

Bristol post is a joke.

Agree on the road planning, just look at the centre, what on earth were they thinking…

A steaming pile…

Reconstructing the back story - who has enough money to own at least one Lambo (they didn’t say what his other car was) and yet doesn’t have insurance ? Given the cars, it can’t be a money thing. The owner is either unusually stupid (how do stupid people earn lots of money, assuming they can’t be the next prime minister ?), or they’re uninsurable, or they just don’t care about the law. I suspect the police already know this person for other reasons.

The stupid thing came to mind some years ago when there was a story about a bloke who bought a nearly new Range Rover without getting it HPI’d and it was repossessed. It was a 40k+ car. HPI checks were about £10 at the time…

It might be if you handle an enormous throughput of cash in your business but for various reasons do not have or use a bank account…

Would also have to be a dodgy car dealer too - not allowed more than £5k cash

Years back there was a bouncer / dealer / club owner in Plymouth that eventually got sent down. One of the things that contributed to it was that he paid cash for a Lamborghini.

Yerright, sharply dressed bloke comes in with quarter of a mill in cash and the guys says terribly sorry sir …

Or the money is laundered through other accounts and paid for from someone else’s account.

My wife works in auto recovery with the Police and she has met these characters and their uninsured supercars on a frequent basis.

Don’t forget the police sergeant who had a Ferrari. Turned out he also had a brothel and cocaine supply business.

Don’t worry, Coco is already back on the road, and is escorting the others to the port.

A Twatter of porkers? I’m sure there must be a suitable collective noun

A Gendarmerie of Porkers?

Has happened a few times since I’ve lived here

One reversed straight into the estate agents from being parked
