So since FoL joined the NHS she has rapidly come to realise what I meant by the cake and biscuit culture within.

They are clearly dragging her in slowly like quicksand as she spent yesterday practicing her first decorated biscuits to take onto the ward…

Making a big batch of bolognese sauce. 6ltrs which will probably reduce to 5ltrs. 5lb of minced steak in it :smiley:

Likewise-ish. Narelle made a ragu yesterday. 2 hours on the hob. It was put back on the heat an hour ago, red wine added and should be ready for the pasta (bucatini) in about another hour.

I use white wine in mine, but it’s just a personal preference.

No carrots in mine. Mince, onions, garlic, herbs, tomatoes… but no carrots.
