I’ve just dug the wrapping out of the bin, the asparagus was produced in Mexico! How it gets here so fresh beats me and it has been in my fridge for over a week.
I believe Iceland grows a good deal of stuff under glass, geothermally heated. That included pineapples back in the 90’s when we were there. They were still expensive, because everything was. They imported a large fraction of their food (not fish, obvs).

Christ, this can get to fuck
Inventing shit for the sake of it.
£3 a pack, noticed it tonight.
Also this is available elsewhere.
Don’t mind marmite but really hate peanut butter.
my wife is hedging her bets - she didn’t whip the cream enough either (which is odd since she is usually quite good at that sort of thing)
I had an apple
Must be out of date by now.
Just adds to the flavour
Has it pulled any teeth out yet?
Butter first, then jam then clotted cream. Grounds for separation imho
Unsalted obviously…
Parmesan chicken, croquettes and salad
The croquettes look overdone, but they’re not, they go that colour in 30 seconds once lowered into the oil. Must be the mix of breadcrumbs and gram flour I use and maybe the type of oil, dunno.
Try ground nut, they look great to me
Thanks, I’ll give ground nut oil a try.
I swear by groundnut oil.
Fuck ! Shit ! Cunt !
Like I said, I’ll give it a go, but I’ll still use beef dripping for chips
