Genuinely lol-ing

Looks like he turned into Cheggers.

And?

I hate the stuff (the texture), just trying to be helpful and make it more palatable for others

Please excuse the American-ness of the website, but I’m finding myself increasingly drawn to this recipe…,

Millet? Do budgies eat porridge then?

Incorrect. Millet Porridge is The Don. Far superior.

Now you mention it, we’ve got some left over from the Christmas pud making at the weekend. Hmmmmm…

Millet porridge, made entirely with Vanilla Rice-Dream, maple syrup, crushed walnuts, blueberries and a dusting of cinnamon. Takes the piss.

There is a product in Canada called Red River Cereal that lists as its ingredients “Steel cut Wheat, steel cut Rye, cracked and whole Flax. May contain Barley, Mustard, Oat, Sesame seed, Soybean and Triticale ingredients”
Very similar to your bird food indeed , but actually quite nice. The wheat and rye are chewy and the seeds pop in your mouth (ooh-err).

Before cooking . . .

That’s nothing a shit-ton of golden syrup and butter wouldn’t sort out

That would be dangerously close to spoiling a good flapjack…
