Fair play, these days they’ll need some hard wearing stuff, kudos.
Excellent!
Great size for a Burger or a Fillet Steak
A nice aspect of SolidTeknics design being that you loose little cooking area where the base transitions to the relatively vertical sides
Looks good for a pizza pie.
I have no idea what a pizza pie actually is.
Incoming… SolidTeknics AUS-ION pre quenched wrought iron 7.5 inch skillet…lovely wee pan…Same as @coco ‘s
The previous AUS-ION Satin shot peened 26cm I bought in the background… after 3 x oven seasoning sessions so 6 hours on the clock…seasoning coming along nicely
This is just the stove for that.
Brings a whole new dimension to Hell’s Kitchen
Is an 11" wok big enough to cook for 2 -3 people?
Trying to decide between 13" or 11". My wife must have got to me because I’m wondering if we have the space to store a 13"
id say you are looking for 12"-14" - but it does depend on what you are cooking…
She’d be the one to ask
Just back ordered the Noni non ferritic Stainless Steel 2.5 L Saucepan Skillet/Lid combo…hopefully shipping in a couple of weeks…
Want one.
Well the cast iron skillet is perfect for spaghetti aglio et olio. I used 4 large mild chillies, toasted in the pan dry, then into the food processor with those, then pan on very low, XV olive oil, loads of garlic, slow. Bung in chillies, bung in cooked spag with water, reduce, s+p, parmesan.
Worth getting the pan just for that tbh.
Like the sound of that dish… the SolidTeknics pans are actually pressure stamped out of a single sheet of ‘Wrought ‘ iron rather than cast…cook the same as cast yet noticeably lighter virtually indestructible quicker to heat up and last your lifetime
Pleased with the progress on seasoning the SolidTeknics Quenched 7.5 inch skillet…approx 4 X 2 hours oven time at 250 C
The 10 Inch skillet alongside as comparison is as delivered from SolidTeknics sporting their quench in cool rice bran oil having been pre heated to high temp
Those De Buyer Mineral B 32’s are excellent pans
