Starter for 10 anyone care to recommend a restaurant/pub open on a Sunday (23rd August) in Shrewsbury?
To set a standard what about the Shrewsbury Hotel for all your Wetherspoon favorites?
Melon balls with wafer thin ham.
Never been myself but I’m told https://www.brunningandprice.co.uk/armoury/ is very good. I’ve been to another of their pubs, The Woodbridge, Coalport, and that was excellent every time.
how very 1970s (or was it 80s)
Can’t be messing about with that many.
looks good to me
thanks @mickbald I was hoping you’d answer…
and now for an Amuse Bouche we will be based in Llandudno for two nights - anyone care to make any recommendations for pubs/restaurants to eat
am staying there
Nice one. Wanted to book dinner there for Monday (wedding anniversary), but can’t get in. Feel sad.
Tis probably the best place to eat in town though.
Decent seafood. Not just fried and battered…
this is just what we were looking for
thanks have a booking with the Cottage Loaf and am waiting to hear from the Seahorse
One of the bonuses of The Seahorse is a half decent wine list.
for our next course we are basing ourselves for three nights in Aberystwyth.
Anybody got any recommendations for eating, drinking and merriment?
McDonald’s if you are in a rush, KFC if it’s a special night and fancy somewhere with a chilled out ambience
helpful as ever - where is the ignore button?
What did you think of the Cottage Loaf? We are going next Thursday.
