Does anyone have a TEAC/Tascam 1/4" NAB adapter tucked away in their man-drawer? One of mine has self-destructed, and the other probably isn’t far behind, but is working OK for now.
I know you can get them new from Tascam, and there’s any number of dreamers on ebay asking the price of a brand new pair for a single 40 yr old one…but if there’s one kicking around here that can keep me going for a bit, till I can justify buying a new pair?

Yes, the parts that are fucked on that 40 year old one are the exact same ones that are fucked on mine, and in almost the exact same fashion.

I have a friend in need, had a hard time of late but has been enjoying vinyl on an old horrible stacking system.
Looking for a cheapola tt (rega p2, dual, whatever)
And a small pair of bookshelf speakers.

Edd I have a pair of Royd Coniston R bookshelf speakers he could have, since its you how’s £50 sound. They are very good.

I have some mordaunt short MS10i Pearls* (I think*) in the loft doing nothing, they still look smart in sort of Rosewood and have grilles etc.
