Sell me a Coffee Grinder

Kitchen Aid thing seems up the spout. I’ve cleaned out what I can see / burrs etc. It’s old and tired - I’m sympatico.

I see many a meatman is into the twisty pepper grinder things which strike me as overly manual.

Anything electric out there? Seen any good deals?

Records / lingering massage and or cash awaits.

I have a similar kitchen aid grinder to yours going spare. I also have the kit to upgrade it to Mazzer burrs (new burrs included) I never got round to installing cos it worked well enough for my needs.

I half heartedly tried selling it a few months back:

If you fancy staying with what you know, make me an offer?

This is very tempting but a little past might budget right now :sob:

How old is it rob? Was it grinding daily?

Not sure Matt, I’ve had it for about 5 years and it did a couple of double shots a day up to about a year ago.

The motor is strong and the current burrs seem ok. It has the new ones if/when they’re too far gone.

It’s what I used until I bought a DF64.

I’m all for it, my wife on the other hand seemed to take a dim view of the suggestion? - Bandwidth issues I suspect.

This, this and more this…

I’ve had one for some 6 years now and its a faultless bit of kit. Feels built like a tank, heavy, solid metal construction. Powerful motor and nice burr set. Easy to dial in, great touchscreen, and low retention. It’ll probably live as long as I could ever expect it to.

A friend of mine uses them as decaf grinders in a professional setting, and they hold up to that abuse too.

Quality wise, mine is used with a la Marzocco Linea Micra machine, and the grinder is perfectly comfortable in this company. For home use, there is no better all rounder IMHO.
