Can you just go 3.5 to 2 rcas to the amp?

Exactly what I’m doing.

Whats that then? Shiny and cheap sounds good.

What’s in the box

Reassuring presentation

Got fed up with the Kondo tags, the wire is so fine a few changes of cart and they give up the ghost.

Cartridge fitted. The connectors on these are the best I’ve come across. A very nice full sliding fit that feels complete and secure. The wires are quite short and medium stiff. Can I hear the difference? Errr Not massively but there’s a little peace of mind in a good connection that I do quite like though.

Sometimes the foo is worth the £££ for the :face_holding_back_tears:

Also, I now have fossil-coral envy

I’m always scared to ask the price of something that comes in a presentation box :package:

I seem to have wrangled them for what appears to be a deal

Note the state of the old airy fairy Kondo wires - They look like they have been chewed by a dog.

Litz wire = negligible sonic benefits + unceasing rectal discomforts from construction to inevitable failure…

I generally make new sets using the red & white sleeved inner conductors of Kondo interconnect which gives more strands & which is more robust. I have a spare piece of interconnect I can cut bits from. I’d like to know a supplier of better cartridge tags though.

I used these, but they have gone from a tenner last year to £30 this year. Guess the bad weather has forced the increase

73g is a straight up lie. They’re missing at least one zero, probably two.
