I did have a spasm of failing to sell hifi for an existence, which may have made it look as if I had had a lot of speakers, but none were Triangles (they weren’t interested in dealing with me - which demonstrated acute powers of judgement on their part! 
)

Enjoying hearing the Modwright again. For me it’s a close run thing between this and the Gato. I am tempted to keep both, but may soon end up posting one of them for sale.
The Gato is smoother while the Modwright is more resolving(?)
Neither is extreme in their presentation which is why it’s hard to choose one over the other.

It’s a good aesthetic match for the Allnic phono for sure.
So Hel’s latest attempt to disrupt my calm room of escape has been to suggest moving the room around (she’s finally given up trying to oust the horns so this is the next frontier to start a new war on).
Basically her idea is to move the sideboard and hifi boxes out of the bay and put them on the right hand side wall, and put a sofa into the space vacated in the bay.
Now this little idea has problems. Firstly, the 3 seater is about 2cm wider than the bay window space. That would mean putting the 2 seater which is currently here -
In the bay, and then seeing if when the sideboard is on the right hand wall whether the 3 seater would fit comfortably in the place of the 2 seater, or whether I’d need to sell the 3 and buy another 2 seater.
Then there’s whether the single chair currently in front of the sideboard goes, and whether it fits on the left (probably not with the 3 seater in new position).
Also Hel planted the idea of moving the drinks globe to the right if it fitted and then putting another single matching bay of Ladderax on the other side of the chimney breast (less keen on this idea tbh).
The biggest problem with all this is I think that she may be on to something, and is now eating its way into my brain which is trying to figure out if it can be done.
