I’m looking forward to hearing what you think Mike. I also thnk they work well in my room as it’s quite a small listening space but nonetheless still barmy good for the money. 
The main reason I bought them Allan, other than reading some good things about them, is because my room IS smaaalll and bass is a real problem in it.
Even my current Heco’s have the ports slightly bunged !?
They might be perfect then Mike.
I’ve tried them without the sub and they sounded a tad light on bass but, thinking about it now I’m probably that used to having a sub that I miss that additional grunt.

It’s a nice looking thing and it’s got a big knob 
I thought it wasn’t working at first as I couldn’t get any music from the laptop through the hifi. Turns out that the DAC only works passively.
The reviews I read said it was a great headphone amp but the DAC wasn’t that good on it’s own. Reviews are bolloxs - it sounds very good at the minute and will suit my limited streaming needs
