You’re probably not too far from the truth there.
They’re intended to be custom install rack friendly, so the case is predominantly a heatsink / radiator

Chinese copy of the AT6006 tonearm safety lifter. £30 from eBay.
Setting up was a bit of a mare, but the instructions helped immensely…

They do, huge amount of clarity and texture, bit of a shock after using valves for some time.

I prefer them to the white ones, the 2 tone is more subtle and my wife prefers them as they blend into radiators behind more.
