not all 300B amps are created equal, I suspect the BP unit @pinkfish is currently selling would be interesting, possibly not in an @ICHM big beat nightclub type experience, but worth a go.
IMO, no speakers benefit from a sweet, gentle valve amp. Except possibly old Royds…
Fortunately, my opinions are evidence-based and aren’t coloured by a chippy, vested-interest viewpoint formed 30 years ago.

We did try Direkts with Phil’s M7 and my (old) SJS 300b amp.
It did sound bloody good, even in a smallish room.
