New room heaters/winter amps installed. Absolutely mahoosive and mahoosively heavy. Sound great from cold. The manual says they need 24 hours to really sing. I prefer them to @Jim’s old Alephs which I was using for the last year or so.

They arrived with a matching preamp.

The preamp is on trial. First impressions: . I’ve had to shift my speakers away from the rear wall as there is prodigious bass using FLACs streamed via Roon. I’m too fecked atm to play records as shifting and setting up this kit is a job for a younger man.

Trying to think of something smart-arse to say but I’m drawing a blank. That just looks great :+1:

I’ve now got some serious power amp envy going on.

Agree, the set up looks like something from a 6 moons feature. Blooming gorgeous.

I’ve got some serious feckin’ back ache going on. Those things are not moving for the foreseeable future.

Where did you get them, if you don’t mind me asking? What’s happened to the Alephs?

Nope. He hardly shifted when the amps went in, which was brave/incredibly lazy.

Yea and then switched on see first pic

Emporium. The Alephs were traded in along with a load of other stuff.

Brave (stupid ?) man

Wunderbar! Ich bin so geil auf deine Verstärkung.

They are Pass Labs amps so are not built out of eggshells, tin and unicorn pubes. Also, they have not been monkeyed about with. They are absolutely immaculate…:confounded:…Guaranteed to explode now that I have said this
