How do the new Amps compare with the Alephs?
So far so good. It is a bit early to say much, but I have no buyer’s regret. The pre-amp in particular is a joy to use.

Yep. Bit hard to say whether XA100/5s>Alephs though as I also changed the pre-amp from Audio Research LS26R to Pass XP20. Brilliant day for listening to techno though as it was just me and the plasterers here. Mahooosive images and prodigious bass depth (nice and quick though, no sense of low frequency flab 'n flub at all) so far.

How far do the XA100.5s go in class A?
It is a pure Class A amp. So 100W into 8ohm or 200W in 4ohm. Proper job.
