Was born about 8 miles from Heathrow and would catch the bus to go and watch the planes in the early 70s.
We had seen concorde on its test flights from the park we played football in with jaws hanging. But was shocked at how small it looked close up at one of the terminals

Yep, had a big presence compared to its size.
Sadly never flew on it, but seen a few on static display and been in the one at brooklands
