Divining for girls?
Aren’t there apps for that sort of thing?
Truly, we are not worthy - I’ve ridden bikes like that: crippling - the malt is essential!
That there’s an opportunity coming up to hear an expert talk about Dust on the London Underground Environmental Physics Group Members Event. Sounds like Terry @MGOwner 's people need to get out with the Mr Sheen .
There’s not enough Mr Sheen in the world to do that.
I could tell stories of dust, cables, fumes, etc., but I need a job and absolutely can’t say anything cos there’s no problems. No, sireee. None. None at all
Most of it is a combination of brake dust and human skin.
End of the shift you blow black shit out of your nostrils. Lovely stuff.
Aaaaaaaand … too much info Terry !
Although less than 20 years ago in my recent experience.
Funny thing being away from London for 28 years. When I used to go up (every x6 weeks or so) I’d smell the air and it smelled like home. As time’s gone on I realize ‘home’ smelled of 36 flavors of toxic gloop
I had a brief stint working up there in 1996. I’d get a train up from Dorset with my pushbike then ride across the short distance from Waterloo to Borough. Then spend the next 24 hours coughing & with streaming irritated eyes.
It’s noticeably less toxic just being there now.
Fluffers needed, innit!
There’s a word you shouldn’t Google at work …
