One drawback of the spinal anaesthetic is that about the last thing to regain feeling and function is your willy. Trying to take a first pee with a numb and fully shrunken penis, after some lower torso pummeling (or so it seemed) in the op, is not easy.

Make sure it’s not your dressing gown cord you have hold of when you go for a pee :grinning:
