I got bored with the bland music halfway through and took off the headphones to listen to the team’s conversations. Think I’ve got a #6 fitted, if my memory isn’t too hazy (they decide what size to use during the op - see the channel 5 Operation Live on My5).
It’s not collapsing, it is as the Irish would say “the road rising up to meet you”

good they spotted it. Louise has had it in her left eye forever, and the drops are very effective at stopping any more damage.

Only recently had both my eyes lasered to relieve pressure and, hopefully, prevent glaucoma. Apparently I was in the red zone in both eyes. Go back in four weeks for the follow-up tests.

Louise had laser iridotomy to stabilise the pressure. In her case it doesn’t stop the glaucoma, and she still needs the drops.

I said “in her case”. - she has a severe condition that the destroyed 80% of the peripheral vision in her left eye. You on the other hand (from you said) have had the procedure for preventative reasons…completely different scenarios
