Been to quacks to have blood tested for a number of things. Diabetes especially.

Results tomorrow.

Come home from work. Can barely walk on it. Going to the quacks at 3.40. It hurts to bloody much.

Antibiotics it is then.

That looks similar to the reaction my wife takes to Ant bites although hers is very severe.

Yeah, the practice is pretty good here.

Ouch. This hurts like hell, and has swollen up to the point I can’t get a shoe on, plus I’m running a temperature…

Was it an Ant bite Rob or something else - looks like a bad reaction to whatever it was.

My wife now has to get antibiotics from the doc before she goes on holiday just in case so she take them immediately.

Not sure. We think it was a horse fly maybe.

I also get large welts with horse fly bites. Guess maybe you are unlucky and an infection is in there. Make sure you go back to the doc if the antibiotics don’t start working in the next day or two.
