Is this standard issue for picket line duties?
Fucking hate the CWU, in a case of irony they outsourced all their legal services who were then utterly useless in an unfair dismissal case I had with Crapita.
Unfortunately I don’t have a choice of representation. It’s them or no-one. And our local reps are pretty good.
The agency workers that the bosses would have you replaced with are doing a grand job.
This arrived today , fully open. No money unfortunately.
I didn’t think anything was redirected anymore, just returned to sender.
Although if it was delivered to the wrong place in the first instance that is not technically redirecting
Can someone please recommend a product for my new Berwicks?
They’re oiled calf, which is a matt/slightly satin finish, a bit like in Steve’s (presumably pre-polishing) pic above.
Dubbin
I would have thought saphir neutral will be fine.
I use it on everything no matter what the colour,
You only really need the coloured stuff like Steve has in that pic if you need to add colour over damage to the leather.
I have a pot of Marron colour for my Tricker brogue shoes and have used it a couple of times in 4 years.
I have got through pots of the neutral though
Takes forever to dry out and is a fluff magnet. No thanks.
Dubbin for oiled leather (high mink oil).
If you use it the leather will struggle to take a polish, so it’s fine for leather you don’t want to shine up.
It’s best for only the creases on normal shoes to prevent cracking.
I use Saphir creme (neutral as a do all) to condition and shine. Sometimes renovateur for anything dry.
I rarely use wax as it is really just a top coat to protect.
Note that some dubbin is like axel grease. I use Saphir graisse.
The shoes above were faded and needed a colour kick so I bought a match to revive the shade, and they are pictured before the buff and another two coats.
Did no one notice the
This, or a very thin, very quick coat of Renapur and wipe off immediately with a duster etc.
Also great for furniture, car seats, jackets.
Props to Mrs @Mrs_Maureen_OPinion for recommending it originally.
Ooh, I have renapur for my motorcycle leathers, Will give it a go, can’t hurt.
This is the best stuff
Saphir Médaille d’Or Pommadier Cream
I vote this, it’s title is pregnant with ponced out language. 9/10 (Needs a nano in there)
C&J Ashdown that I’ve left at the MiL’s for many years.
Yep, those are fcuked.
I idly googled the price of a replacement pair.
Sad face emoji.
Replacement shoe or sole?
