A lot of those names were new to me so I’ll check them out. It sounds like I should start by taking a gander down Jermyn St.

I really thought Cockney rhyming slang had had its five minutes of fame. Yet it reappears occasionally, and never in a good way.
Some of the JWs are a bit narrow, so definitely worth trying on and proberly won’t work if you have hobbit feet.
Alfred Sergent make nice shoes and their refurb service is great,I have a few pairs that are 30 years old and are as good as new.

Slightly cheaper than some of the stuff on here but Herrings site is always worth a look, they retail quite a few brands as well as their own label (which are made by the brands that they sell).
