You want to get some knitted ones !
Typical long-past-it male here: somewhere are a pair of trainers and a couple of pairs of cheap, semi-smart black boots from about 25 years ago, I live in a pair of cheapish walking boots, plastic sandals substitute for slippers. And that’s it.
Everything I possess that isn’t hifi will have cost less than just 1 pair of some of the cunty shoes ITT.
I am Imelda Marcos.
I dread to think…
I bought Oxfords from Trickers in an 8. They are the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever had. I can’t wear them. I rang then and they said to pop in to the shop with them, but I’m hardly ever in London. I might sell them.
I don’t understand why they didn’t advise me to size up.
Fucking hell Edd, are you blind???
I think you need to try any decent makers shoes on as the lasts vary.
I can’t do oxfords in any make as my arch is high so they never lace without a v shape.
I stick to derbys. I have issues with the single pair of Trickers oxford I own, and no issues with their similarly smart derby. It’s more my feet than their sizing.
I take 7.5 in their 4444 country and 8 in the 4479 though both come up big (unless heavy socks as per design).
I find the city shoes fairly TTS.
My Alfred sergeant 8s are the most comfy and naturally suited boots I own.
Slip on
More “second hand Lobb in good condition” rather than anything about the style.
I’m still peeved about the pair of Edward Green they had in my size. Sold in about 3 seconds.
That website makes my teeth itch purely by gratuitous over-use of the word ‘chap’.
Yak.
Ed has more shoes than wor lass!!
I think it is specifically designed to appeal to readers of
No shortage of standard cunty shoes either. Probably posted about 1/4 of them, lots still in Florida.
Some thieving bastard’s nicked yer laces
Ms ICHM recently moved house and I found out she has 90 pairs of shoes and 70 handbags, I can’t really complain can I.
They are truely horrible.
I bought a cheap pair for work from this online only shop recently, very pleased with them, great quality at a lot cheaper price than those firms with West end shops,

I bought a pair of Andrew in black and they are really excellent
I get pissed off at having to pay £60 (with club discount:smirk:) for my running shoes never mind the thick end of £1k for a pair of shoes that are so stiff it is always a relief when you take them off at the end of the day!!!
Mind you, my running shoes are junk after 2 to 3 months and I suppose some of these stiffies last for years, errr… so to speak…
