They were effectively prototypes for what went onto becone the audio circuit for the Model 3 phono stage.

I bought it off bob, great bit of kit and used it with a Model 1.5 and the 300B amp.

Mine went back to Simon as I needed slightly more gain, so Simon tweaked it, different valves , so the etching didn’t match,

That brings back nightmares, when it arrived one of the cables had been pulled off the pin.
Trying to re-solder the AN silver mosquito pube wire was fun.

Spent the evening changing the room around so the 3 seater faces the speakers and sideboard is err, on the side.
Seems to have made the room look bigger but now the coffee table looks lost and so I’ll need to replace the rug to bring things together. Also the 2 seater needs a lamp and a tall houseplant in the alcove.
Also need to relocate the amps when I’ve sorted longer cables

Have got the firsts driving Sonus Fabers at the moment. Really surprised how good they are sounding considering they are 7.5W into a 4ohm load and 88dB sensitivity.
Second audios have really impressive bass with the SF, lower gain but fuck me do they sound good.

Really tempted to do away with the Fosi ZA3 amps and put the AI 300 in, going by the firsts the 10W ECL86 should be fine.
