Jared Wise is one of the pardoned Jan 6th rioters, who encouraged others to “k•ll the police.”
He was caught on video beating Capitol police officers and testified at his hearing that the beatings were justified.
Wise has been hired by the DOJ as an advisor under the direction of Ed Martin. Martin is the pardon attorney for the Jan 6th rioters, and has been appointed head of Pam Bondi’s weaponization working group.

The US has now funded what an self-respecting totalitarian regime would want: a paramilitary organisation with no accountability, operating outside and beyond the control of the military, judicial, and state/local law systems.
With this vote, Congress has made ICE the highest-funded agency in history, with more money per year over the next four years than the budgets of the FBI, DEA, ATF, US Marshals, and Bureau of Prisons combined.

She shit the bed so hard over the Texas disaster too - she’s imposed a rule requiring any project that might require more than $100,000 in spend to be signed off by her personally, and then took something like 3 days to sign off on going into the Texas floods. 3 fucking days.
The acting Director also did absolutely fuck all, didn’t even mention it in press conferences/briefings from what I can see. Utterly weird.
To us stuff like this is shocking but the MAGAs don’t care, they’ll just lap it up and support these people until the bitter end.
The entire Trump phenomenon summed up in twelve words. Up to now, everything else has been secondary.

Meanwhile Trump issues $10,000,000,000 lawsuit against the Wall street Journal (“a cheap rag”, in his words) for their publication of some Epstein related info.
WSJ responds by revealing (saying? alleging?) Trump has been advised by the US justice department that his name is in the Epstein files.

No doubt maxwell is going to be offered a deal to say trump had nothing to do with anything for reducing her sentence.
Then not letting her out early.
Maxwell has already not been let out early - she took some sort of deal which was expected to see her released early, but it’s not happened.
She has since been reported to be ‘keen’ to talk about her experiences which should see the highest levels of Republican leadership feeling a bit antsy.
Hopefully they’ve sorted the surveillance camera problems that seem to plague US jails…
The WSJ’s lawyers also responded with something that was very much lawyer speak for “bring it, bitch” - I’m pretty sure they know they have the goods for their defence, and discovery in a trial like that would likely be very explosive.
I do wonder how much Vance’s subsequent trip to talk to Rupert and family was about how the administration could back out of the lawsuit.
