Does makes sense if you’re aware of the bad quality of US food.
It’s not healthy to put US food in your mouth first and then let it pass your rectum.
Bypassing the gastrointestinal tract isn’t therefore such a bad idea.

As I heard one commentator point out, it’s good that he’s not getting confirmed but there’s thousands of him all over this government in positions that don’t get proper scrutiny

He was reportedly effectively forced out of the DIA after clashing with superiors over his allegedly chaotic management style and vision for the agency. In a private e-mail that was leaked online, Colin Powell said he had heard in the DIA (apparently from later DIA director Vincent R. Stewart) that Flynn was fired because he was “abusive with staff, didn’t listen, worked against policy, bad management, etc.” According to The New York Times, Flynn exhibited a loose relationship with the truth, leading his subordinates to refer to Flynn’s repeated dubious assertions as “Flynn facts”.
You can see why Trump got very close to him in the run up to the first Trump administration.

Yeah, point taken, but despite being Republican he came across as being a very great deal more capable than Flynn. Having to serve under the two Bushes won’t have made preserving his integrity easy, assuming that he wanted to of course.
