Funny that. In the 21st century, race is still an issue when it comes to voting in the USA.
And minorities still vote for Trump, in spite of very fine people in Charlottesville, or being called murderer, rapist or drugs dealer by that orange moron.
As an upside, ICE is not discriminating, they killed white folks too.
And the UK and USA Cabinets have immigrants like Patel, Rubio, Braverman et al who can be racist as well.
That’s progression of equality.
/sarcasm off.
Trump is (unsurprisingly) actively encouraging Republicans to redraw district lines to gain as many seats as possible. There is talk in some Republican-held states of suspending the mid-term elections until this is completed as it would be “too complicated and misleading” to vote, and then change the boundaries. (Republicans are concerned about losing seats in the same way their Speaker has recently been losing votes.)
Of course, this a.k.a. gerrymandering.
As an example: Louisiana. The red and blue parts speak for themselves.
Republicans want more of this. Democrats want more ‘obvious’ boundaries which would (entirely coincidentally, I’m sure ) see them likely gain a large number of seats.
Well that is just fucking excellent. I rarely last more than a few minutes with such pieces - not this one - all the way to the end: highly articulate, brilliantly expressive, factually accurate, and neither abusive nor rhetorical. 50 minutes well spent
Imagine being in a relationship with a person like that, talking absolute shit at you 24/7. You’ve got to love the delusional certainty based on ‘doing her own research’. 78% of people like her are Trump voters and the other 22% spend their day drooling down their shirt in a locked ward in a flyover state.
