Did you measure to see if you’ve got 240mm between spindle & bearing?

Yep. The bloke that built it used the template. It’s all good. I just need a protractor. And maybe a little extra weight.
Just a fit a Denon DL103 it won’t matter one jot about alignment and stuff.
Looks lovely by the way
Indeed. They’re impervious to the intricacies of set up.
‘The Nail’ has a performance that cannot be worsened without resorting to @J_B’s lump hammer.
Turntable hats are the bestest and smooth many a wavy wobble.
I like mine much a lot
Surely Mpingo with gemstones?
Mad couple of afternoons at work meant Dr F was used until about half midnight last night. And again this morning up to lunch.
Suggested my arm was 242mm, so 2mm out. Now all set up and in place. But I have been at work and working all weekend.
So no time for music!
Hardest bit was the cable under the arm as it wasn’t easy to lift the plinth top alone, and vertical tracking tended to make it fall out again. Faff City!
Next stop is a speed test on both decks and deciding which to settle on. Both are fine but still can’t figure the switch issue out. Won’t be a biggie, just missing something.
This is not progressing fast enough, nor are there any pictures - sort yourself out
Because Work reasons.
I haven’t had a day off since I set it up!
Strobe at 33.
I had a flicker on my other power supply suggesting some voltage issue on the power line (has one just for strobe).
Swap for the one with the BBC branded plug and strobe light rock solid.
Also swapped decks. Managed to resolve the hole size issue by sticking the second control box under deck in the plinth.
Tidy.
Not risking online VTA judgement by photo then?
Licenec fee well spent.
absolutely !!! The BBC had their own plugs made over using a standard (ie cheaper) plug.
Like just said public funds well spent. No wonder this country is in a mess.
Do plugs make a difference? (Coat on, exit right…)
Saw this on PFM, any use to you SP10 owners?
The pic in the embedded box is the guys avatar, not the plinth.
Looks very nice.
