205 bus to Kings Cross and then 46 to Holborn Circus. 10 min walk. Or walk to Bond St, Elizabeth Line (not part of strike) to Liverpool St and 10-15 min walk.

Wow, that Nitrogen Protection System is pretty impressive tech.
I thought that too! I was also impressed by the protection from impacts…
AA tour bus?
18L V8 FTW!
40 years old ? How cool is that
?
Cool as fuck! Setra is now a brand owned by Daimler Group.
Anyhoo, these were know to be the absolute best coaches on the market. Sadly Setra hasn’t sold in the UK for some time now.
This is a lovely bit of kit and if I had the money and storage, I’d be on that. It is a fucking stunner!
Looks to be an absolute beauty
Nicer to live in than a bedsit, that’s fo sho. Be a fab use for it.
I lived in Italy as a nipper and some of the school buses were Kässbohrer Setras broadly similar to that, albeit single decker. Even the 9yo me could feel the quality in those things.
Something like this?
Yes, although I would prefer it to preserved as is; it is too good to be stripped out like that.
That interior is absolutely bang on!
There were never that many sold in the UK because they were so expensive. ![]()
Yes, very much like that
Ah cool! It is strange to see one with opening windows and gasket glazing; because of their market positioning, most sold were to a very high specification for the time.
That said, I do remember seeing these on Nat Ex services in Swansea:
True, true.
I was on these things maybe '82-'83? I think there were some with more traditional glazing and one or two bigger, newer ones with flush glass which we thought was petty snazzy at the time.
I like the branding on that one - I want to cover it in EU flags and fill it with transgender Muslim refugees and tour Britain’s Reform-voting shirking-class hellholes for a spot of Mobile Taunting ![]()
Hope they get the orders:
The quiet part was spoken out loud here:
Better that it’s out in the open - real change is needed across your industry Stu
