The Met is already investigating two former Fujitsu experts, who were witnesses in the trials, for perjury and perverting the course of justice.
I worked for ICL/Fujitsu at the time and was interviewed for a role on the Horizon project but didn’t get it - a lucky escape with hindsight. While nothing like the issues faced by the postmasters I’m sure there are a bunch of my ex-colleagues who had no idea this was going on but feel guilty about what was being done.
Another “We’ll never know the outcome…”, but Sam was approached by the Post Office in 2017 who wanted to recruit her into a senior central finance role in a then-splurge on recruiting finance people that actually knew what they were doing. She did her homework and ran away screaming in the opposite direction, despite what would have been a significant uplift in pay…
With hindsight, I suspect PO were making a very belated attempt to get their ducks in a row financially, and find-out where all the money went that they’d extorted from SPMs.
BA Website really is shit.
According to BA they have no idea where our bags are and they are still looking for them.
Status website has not updated for over 2 days.
Customer Services use the same portal (with more bells and whistles) so also have no idea.
Meanwhile a couple of the group members have airtags on their bags and they are saying the bags are now at Gatwick.
Still no update from BA though, you would think they would like to give people good news!
Sadiq Khan says cardboard steering wheels could bring to life driverless train experience for children
Has he ever been on the DLR? There’s always (at least, outside rush hour) a scramble for “the driver’s seat” and people will usually defer to kids because it’s clearly so much fun.
