It was dreadful.
He sang everything from his new album that nobody knew, in between songs he was lecturing the audience about the rain forests, he played a couple of Police hits at the end and that was it.
One of the worst gigs I have been to,
My one time seeing him wasn’t great, but it was also a weird ad hoc gig after they’d had to cancel the tail end of the original tour due to illness. Did feel very paint by numbers. I think it was doubly disappointing because he’s produced some really good live albums in his time.
We know a song about him!

The Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) is calling for the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner, Simon Foster, to resign over his “pitiful failure” to sack the chief constable.
In a statement, chief executive Gideon Falter also accuses West Midlands Police of having “lied and obfuscated, victim-blaming Jews instead of taking on the Islamists”.
