The people who are supposed to filter junk out of MS Outlook.
OK, I realise Outlook is ‘free’. And I’m sure it’s busy too. But if you’re going to offer a service then at least make it so it succeeds at the most basic things.
The junk filter’s missed a few over the last couple of weeks which, broadly speaking, look like today’s. It appears to come from ‘M!CROSOFT’ - yup, all caps and mis-spelt. If I hover over that I can see (so you can too, MS) that it actually comes from uppdatebfbhbd@aol.com. So they’re pretending to be you, but they aren’t you. Can you see any red lights flashing ?
The subject is IMPORTANT NOTICE!! Double exclamation marks in the title. Need I say more ? OK, I will. The message text starts ‘0UTL00K Mail Hello, Our records show …’
You’d think that if a junk filter can’t spot this then surely it can’t spot anything. But it does spot some stuff - mostly mail sent to multiple recipients. Some of that is spam (i.e. indiscriminate and unwanted) but some isn’t. I can see how making the right call there could be challenging. But stuff purporting to come from MS yet actually coming from somewhere else must be nearly impossible to get wrong, no ?

Cockpunch to duties at work for making me ‘staff up’, gammons protesting immigrants and myself for changing career.
Just worked 68.5hrs in 6 days with 3 days off (the first of which I was working until 7am so is mostly spent asleep) then this set of shifts I am now working 73 hours over 7 days with more staffing up and was only given 24 hours notice of the extra long shifts.
How they expect me to function on the last night shifts is beyond me. Moaned to duties and their response was, I get more staffing up as my surname puts me at the top of the list… how on earth that justifies it is beyond me.

Dell are trying to deliver my desktop and extra monitor and UPS have done their very best to 1. Fail to try to find us; 2. Try to deliver to one of their own Access Points 3 days running and apparently fail to drop off each time.
