Cheers, I’ve posted before my wife is the gardener, I cut the lawn and some labouring. Stripes passed today, tricky down the slope and round the trees :grinning:

Anyone got a good recipe for pickled onions, in particular balsamic.

Even by standards they’re good lines.

Remember next time to go diagonal!

Disappointing Gardeners’ World last night, I can’t stand that narrow shouldered blithering twit with an underwhelming garden who stands in for Monty, but the piece on the Thai woman who grows all her own exotic veg, chillis and herbs was worth a watch if you like that cuisine :+1:

I wanted them to be cutting open some of her veg to see what they were like inside.

That’s a euphemism, right ?

Just scalped the lawn in readiness for major scarifying, hollow tining, sanding and overseeding tomorrow.

Stripes are just a distant memory

Are you an aspiring green keeper?

Am I heck-as-like! Lawn craft is not for the weak willed. Going to be hot as fuck tomorrow too.

3 tonnes of sand and a ton of soil. One shovel and one wheelbarrow. Hellish.

No bucket?

That’s real commitment, your lawn looked good already.
