The Boys' Own Book of Aeroplanes

What about Duty Free? Will Ryan Air still be flying out of Stansted? And what about carry on luggage size?

None that you’d hear about for a while anyway

Ummm… This was an Actual Thing:

Just in case 6 x 4000hp piston engines + 4 x jets weren’t enough - from 1946 - 1957 the US experimented with a flying nuclear reactor. For real. Though it allegedly never actually propelled the aircraft, and was just for testing systems resilience…

I didnt say you ‘couldn’t’ do it. The US did have nuclear hand grenades don’t forget

You could make a ‘dirty’ hand-grenade. You’d really want to be sure you were throwing it downwind though.

Or even if it just crashes into the ground.

If they weren’t in a rush to get anywhere couldn’t they just build a huge airship ?

Lol

engine stall or loss of power

Or according to twiiterfuck…

Helicopter was pulling out one of the light’s window frames. Lost balance, released the frame (which hurt one of the workers on the lighthouse), and lost altitude. Helicopter switched the emergency side floats on.
IMHO good pilot.
