I had a 2015 ZX10, 209 bhp. Absolutely gutless under 6k and a hooligan above. Fairly unusable on the road unless you don’t want to keep your license.
When I saw this. …thought it was a bike I’d forgotten existed …clever very well executed and engineered shed creation. Norman Hyde 1000cc engine …sounded so nice …
As a bike not my cup of tea but that fuel tank looks great, love the colours.
I recently bought this thing
300 2 stroke. A few performance bits so maybe 60hp and 103kg. It’s quite lively.

It’s hard to believe it’s 28 years old - it’s no Duc or S1000RR, but still a really competent sports tourer. I serviced it, put Michelin Road Pilots on it (4s iirc) and the recommended 6mm shim to raise the rear ride height and it feels quite small and nimble for a big old beast. Starts on the button warm or cold - and does it ever go… ![]()
The only things I don’t like are the silly yellow spots the PO added (they seem to be there to cover up previous fairing damage to one side that he couldn’t be bothered to refinish properly ![]()
Heated grips and Rukka, couldn’t do it without them ![]()
I had a neighbour with one years ago, it was his daily transport for everything and it did all the miles all year round, kept in the street. It got necessary mechanical maintenance but not a lot else and yet still looked better than it had a right to when it got its biannual hose down and certainly never went wrong. Great machines.
Yeah I think I’d give that a miss too.
Bike hibernation over. First club meeting of the year pretty busy for a cold and windy Sunday morning. Being a sports bike fan obviously the highlights for me were the stunning carbon Norton and the 26 spec pani Ducati.
The mint condition Yamaha FJ1100 brought back some fond memories. Thought I had the only Reggiani Rs250 in this part of Kent. Apparently I’ve been proved wrong.
The H1 looks old in that company ![]()
That Reggiani is stunning. And what a rider too. Can still picture that crash he had at Donington.
For my education which is the reg
