At full strength Spurs are way better than the rest, and probably better than Liverpool as well imo.
I assume Son was left out of the starting 11 yesterday due to travel during the international break?

Absolutely nerve shredding yesterday. I got a bit annoyed with Kloppo because it was obvious that we needed Fabinho and/or Keita on at 55 minutes onwards. Yesterday was not a good day for Hendo at all. Never mind, it happens but we should have had the subs on much sooner than we did and that Spurs equalizer could have been avoided.
You must have feared the worst when they broke away at 1-1
and then you see it’s Sissoko on the ball and calm returns.

Without drowning in the VVD kool-aid too much, his positioning in preventing the pass to Son, whilst keeping Sissoko on his left foot was a thing of beauty.
If Son gets that ball, it’s a goal.

I agree. However, the fact that Sissoko ran towards Son made VVD’s job that little bit easier. Had Sissoko held his line, or even run slightly wider he might have made space for a pass. Just as VVD did everything correctly, Sissoko made a hash of every option he had.
