I’ve been looking in the tea leaves and have decided that destiny means Brendan finally wins the league for Liverpool by getting something at the Etihad in the penultimate game.

didn’t the Palace away game play out like that with Brendan at the controls?
Losing to Chelsea (Gerrard’s slip) is what lost us it last time - we then became dependent on City dropping points. Even a draw against the Chavs would have kept things in our own hands.
Even if we won the Palace game (where we were 3-0 up) we would have finished second on goal difference.

First half Wolves v Man Utd was very decent viewing.
Landlord of our local got a executive box trip tonight to the Wolves. Meal and seats on the half way line. He’s a big Man Utd fan so will be boring the fuck out of us tomorrow, one way or another. .
