Typically into the Yorkshire Dale’s, or over the moors to whitby. Say 2 hours either way. Whitby has 2charging points currently neither of them anywhere near where you want to be on a visit. How easy a regular trip to France (near mons) would go is any ones guess. Not be going ev this car change, may be next
From?
Scunthorpe
Looks like there are rapid chargers on the way back from both. You just need to factor in this if needed.
One in pickering, the beverly one’s are stuck in car parks or Lidl, You arrive just after some one has decided on a full charge and you stuck for a good while. Not something you really want at 9 or 10 o’clock at night
Not my experience, I doubt many people would be charging then. The ones at our Lidl are rarely in use on Saturday daytime. Each charger has several charging leads and you can fast charge in 20 minutes.
Really, I’d never have known that if you hadn’t mentioned it a gazillion times ![]()
What? The range extender?
Ps When’s the next fasting day?
It’s not perfect, I agree, but I like to think that by contributing to the demand, I will increase the supply.
Interesting take on why Tesla is moving ahead.
The Berlin factory will make all cars with the front and rear casting, and the new batteries.
When it’s tested (and the supply of batteries is increased) it will be rolled out worldwide. At that point the economies of scale kick in and costs should drop.
I love it.
I hate it.
Pretty much! So much rong, and yet…
New software update today.
Glove box PIN number and Bluetooth priority settings (lots of owners are couples who both use phone keys and get in the cars together. The key holds your profile and settings for most of the cars functions).
Also read this, which has been an argument here about beta testing through the car fleet:
“Speaking of which, Munro said Tesla is at least ten years ahead of the competition for its method of applying improvements on the fly to production cars. According to the engineer, Tesla cranks out “a product that’s probably 90 percent, 95 percent there” and follows the strategy of “then basically waiting until customers complained and then changing things rapidly.”
Although that may make Tesla more agile than other companies, it comes at the expense of having its fans say the company sells prototype vehicles, not series-production automobiles”
Decent price.
Love some of the comments at the bottom.
Car leases always cause an implosion.
Going for a Model 3 test drive on Wednesday.
There are two of them local to me, and a model X.
