It’s you and cockroaches come judgement day…
Thought the build quality had improved now?

Nein.
To clarify, they don’t seem to have any fundamental flaws. It’s more that the concept of a PDI seems alien to them.
A lot of hopes are being pinned on the cars that will come out of Berlin later next year, but I’m not sure.
3 or s?
Which storage battery?
Model 3. Standard Range only, unfortunately. That was out of my my control because of the salary sacrifice rules.
GivEnergy battery system. It’s the setup that E.On are offering.

Be interesting to see what control you do have over charge levels, if only because 8.2kWh wouldn’t get us through a whole day without additional solar on days like last Wednesday.
Don’t forget I’ll have a 50odd kW battery sink in the car as well.
From what I’ve read the default DoD is only 80%, that’s how they give you a 10yr warranty. You can request GivEnergy set the DoD at 90% but they reduce the warranty.
Although presumably the 3 doesn’t do V2G (and I am not sure that it is a very good idea when the battery is the limiting factor on vehicle life) so there will need to be some management to ensure you are not pulling from grid during the surge period on Agile.
No you’re right it doesn’t. I just reference it as a relatively big sink for excess solar or low-priced Agile to “go”. It will depend of course on car usage patterns and wouldn’t be as flexible as having a Powerwall or two.

200km range 0-50 kph in 5 secs
0 to 50kph in 5 ?
Looks like it would explode into pieces at that speed.
@browellm will you get the 2021 bits?
Yep, the updates have been shipping since December. The new headlamps are supposed to be quite a big deal. The old ones copped quite a lot of flak. I like the centre console redesign too.
Yeah looks decent, nice one
