The Milk Float Thread

Sounds like you want a Polestar 1, Frank. Then you would be even cooler than you are already.

I had exactly the same thought. Probably a bit on the rare side though.

Pah, that didn’t stop @Jim :joy:

I didn’t know you could do a handbrake turn in a Tesla

I did consider an i8 and Polestar 1, and may still get a used one since they depreciate too much to buy new, but I do have a sports car which I hardly ever use already!
The roads around here are so congested now it is more exasperating than fun.

All things electric and that, about to buy an electric bike on the cycle to work scheme. Opted for a juicy Bike as they combine 8 gears with what is essentially a throttle control disguised as a power set option. Wont be long before they remove the peddles off these and operate them as speed limited motorised bikes, about time too.

Inevitable.

Moar cycle lanes. Most people will commute with them anyway, so less cars.

Shame he didn’t let me know in advance so I could have made a crypto killing.
Which I am sure he has.

Had a new wheel and tyre fitted to the Zoe after hitting a pot hole. They also updated the software at the same time.

Take the car home and plug it in and my Wallbox and it tripped after an hour. Unplugged the car and reset the fuse and it trips again and keeps doing so.
Assume it’s fucked so take the car to work to charge, exactly the same thing one hour in and it trips the charger. My work charger has a reset switch built in, so reset it and away I go. Trips again after an hour. So drive back via pease pottage services and plug in, and it trips the ecotricity charger.

Bastard software updated turned my Zoe in to a charger killer. Renault are picking it up Wednesday

Oh boy.

Seems to always be a possibility with 3 phase capable cars, the Niro/Kona have a tendency to short out house fuses switching between 1/3 phases due to poxy firmware according to myenergi.

Yeah, probably something like that.

If anyone wants me to come around and kill their charger I am more than happy to, range dependant obviously :+1:

The electrician came around to check the home one as it wouldn’t reset:

That would be why it wouldn’t reset then :grimacing:
