The Milk Float Thread

So what takes it above the 2?

Size/luxury/performance.

My work has very recently signed up, kick off meeting next week to understand details. The 40% saving is magnificent.

It’ll involve some number crunching to decide whether we sign up for a new discounted lease or buy the massively depreciated Zoe in 10 months time.
The Zoe’s build quality leaves alot to be desired so It’ll have to be cheap. And I do fancy a Polestar.

Meanwhile the ESFA have pulled the metaphorical handbrake on schemes for schools it appears, to the point where you have to ask permission even to have someone new on an existing scheme.

They don’t really work very well for public sector bodies because of defined benefit vs defined contribution pension arrangements.

Under the right circumstances the marginal saving can be 60% due to the stealth tax band that exists between 100-125k

They would if they would make the deductions pensionable like they do for bike schemes for teachers.

I must say I’m surprised that he’s making such a major play for the right wing thug market given that gullible morons often lack the intellectual capacity to accumulate sufficient capital to acquire luxury vehicles.

MFG at Thirsk on the A19 actually providing what the car can take.

Almost as though a low SoC, hot day and a long drive makes a difference.

Really makes you think

In this case not, was parked 10mins up the road at a play farm.

Got there on a tow truck did it?

10 mins of downhill ish is not that hard a workout for a battery.

Been smashing the miles in the Zoe recently. From mid Sussex to Worcester Park and park via the purley way one day. Then the new forest the day after and then Oxford all their and back.

The new forest and Oxford were good 80+miles each way, no public charging all done at home after doing the round trips.

In winter that would have been a proper squeaky bum coming back on 0% run.

Ive had the Zoe providing a 250mile range over the last few weeks. Averaging between 4.8 and 5 on my 19miles each way, mixed driving commute.
(Shame its like 40% less in winter. )

Yep 100% riding the summer wave until the disappointment of winter arrives

Good example of why heat pumps make such a difference to EVs that have them. Really nullifies a lot of winter range loss.
